Darqueze Dennard’s foundation builds home for family with 9 children

Darqueze Dennard is the latest member of the Cincinnati Bengals to use his massive platform for good.

Thanks to his foundation the “Dennard Difference,” multiple organizations worked together over the course of 18 months to build a home for a family with nine children in Cheviot, according to Colin Mayfield of WLWT.

Dennard, who signed back with the Bengals on a one-year deal this offseason, said he understands the emotions the family went through Wednesday because he bought his family a home after being selected in the first round.

“They know the feeling, my sisters know the feeling, my family knows the feeling, and I know how it is to not have a house,” explained Dennard. “I’m a living testimony that anything you want in life is possible.”

Dennard is one of many Bengals who have been in the news this offseason for their hard and gracious work off the field. Around the same time Dennard was giving the family keys to a new home, other Bengals foundations were hosting an event for Legends o the Past and Present.
