Juliette Holiday appeared to have the best of intentions when she appeared in Emmerdale again after years away and asked Jimmy and Nicola King to see her son Carl.
But it looks as though she's been employing some incredibly underhand tactics in order to take Carl away.
This evening, Jimmy moaned to his wife about the worsening reviews on their business website, insisting that someone was "out to get them".
Speaking to Nicola in the cafe, he said: "Somebody's posting lies about the company. They say our drivers turn up late and get stroppy with clients!"
Confused, Nicola asked: "Who'd do that?"
"They wouldn't use their real name, would they?" Jimmy pointed out as Nicola probed him on whether he'd "wound anyone up recently".
"Not that I'm aware of," he replied. "I've had three clients cancel on me already this morning and I don't know why. At this rate I'll have no business left!"
During his rant, a mysterious customer glanced over at their table with a thoughtful look on his face.
"What the hell's going on?" Nicola questioned.
"Someone's out to get me and I don't know why," Jimmy said as his wife demanded that he "find out why".
As the couple left, the mystery man was straight on his phone to - it appears to be - Juliette.
Smirking, he relayed the conversation he'd just overheard and said: "Did you get my invoice? What you're asking me to do doesn't come cheap.
"I've just been watching them, as it happens. They don't look happy. Well, the way things are going they won't have a penny left to pay for a solicitor.
"Once you get to court, Carl is as good as yours."
Is Juliette paying someone to sabotage Jimmy's business to ensure she gets custody of Carl?
