Carla Connor's life is spiraling out of control and she has been leaning on one person for support - on-off lover Peter Barlow.
Her mental health is worsening over the disturbing texts she is receiving from 'Rana', but could she be receiving them from someone she believed was helping her?
Rana was tragically killed last month after the factory roof collapse, leaving her fiancee and Carla's sister devastated.
It has recently emerged to the rest of the residents that Carla knew that the factory was unsafe but allowed them to continue working there. What they do not know is that someone tampered with the roof, causing the collapse.

And viewers have a new dark theory - that the only person on her side might actually be the person setting her up.
During last night's episode, Peter convinced her to attend Aidan's grave after lying to her about her family being there and also suggested that she stay in the pub while the other residents were gossiping about her.
Viewers flocked to Twitter to speculate.
One tweeted: "Peter has to be the one sending Carla the texts - keeps her 100% reliant on him #Corrie."
While another commented: "I wonder if it was Peter that sent the text? For some reason I have a feeling it’s him, as far fetched as it may sound #Corrie."
A third remarked: "it wouldn't surprise me if it's him for that reason since he blamed the one person who would never use rana like that also he's been too calm and a bit overconfident about all of his actions and he's getting in the way of justice so if you ask me he deserved that punch from imran."
