Coronation Street will be airing a dark sex assault storyline this week as a victim is plied with booze

During this week's episodes, which are available to watch on ITV Hub, Daisy shows her truly sinister side as she manipulates Ryan Connor into drinking so that she can have sex with hi,.
After pushing him to down cocktails, Daisy manages to trick him into leaving his phone so that Alya isn't able to contact him at all.
Yet, as Ryan becomes more and more drunk and increasingly vulnerable, Daisy intentionally remains sober so that she can take advantage.
In a bid to get him onside, Daisy pretends to pour her heart out to him as she tells him: "I find it really hard to make friends.
“Girls hate me because of the way I look and boys only want one thing from me. But you’re different.
“You’re so easy to be with and you get me, and not many people do.”
Daisy goes on to encourage Ryan to drink more and walks out the front of the Rovers, where she bumps into Alya.
The pair clash, with Alya warning Jenny's stepdaughter off her boyfriend - but that only fuels Daisy's need for revenge.
After pretending not to know where Ryan is, Daisy heads back inside and continues to ply Ryan with even more alcohol.
It soon becomes evident that Ryan is too drunk to consent and Daisy makes her move.
Ryan is clearly uncomfortable as Daisy goes to grope him.
She tells him: "You need to forget about her. Which one are you going to pick - boring naggy girlfriend or night of wild passion? I wasn’t talking about the cocktails.”
