Darius Phillips and B.W. Webb get new jersey numbers

Two more members of the Cincinnati Bengals will boast new numbers when the team takes the field in 2019.

Following John Ross’ switch to No. 11 and Damion Willis going with No. 15, cornerbacks Darius Phillips and B.W. Webb have decided to swap numbers.

Webb explained why, per Bengals.com: “I feel like too many people think I’m Pacman. I need my own identity. He’s a dog, for sure, he’s a dog. He goes all out.”

That means Webb will be out there in the No. 23, with Phillips now rocking No. 24.

Both guys figure to play a critical role in their own rights against Seattle and beyond in the coming weeks with Darqueze Dennard out of the picture — better to memorize those new numbers now instead of later.
