Darius Leonard isn’t happy with his rating in Madden NFL 21

Though the game doesn’t come out for another month or so, some of the early ratings in Madden NFL 21 are being released. For Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard, it’s simply another piece of motivation.

Even though these ratings can change by the time game comes out, Leonard is currently sitting with an 85 rating. The Maniac isn’t too happy about that will use it as more fuel for the fire.

“All I can do is grind, prove them wrong day in and day out. That’s what maniac mentality do, baby,” Leonard said in a tweet.

Whenever Madden ratings are released, there are always players that should be rated higher. While in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t really matter, an 85 rating does seem pretty low for a top-five linebacker in the NFL and one who has produced incredibly during his first two seasons.

The Colts are led by guard Quenton Nelson, who has a 94 overall rating. New defensive tackle DeForest Buckner received an 87. The same goes for wide receiver T.Y. Hilton.
