Daredevil completes hair-raising Edinburgh base jump off Arthur's Seat in stunt challenge

A daredevil man has revealed the moment he completed a base jump off Arthur's Seat in a nail-biting video that is sure to have you on the edge of your seat.

Mike Hitchcock, a trained base jumped and AirSports athlete, shared his dive from Edinburgh's famous hill on Friday after completing the stunt.

An 'adventurer and wingsuit pilot', Mike has been posting a series of stunts and clips on social media as he travels around different parts of the UK.

A trained and experienced base jumper, he has uploaded a host of videos jumping off of mountains, towers and more.

This stunt was completed by a highly trained individual and should not be attempted or replicated.

Calling the jump 'Tea with the Queen', Mike used a GoPro to capture the moment he jumped off the Crags and descended down towards the ground.

A few seconds into the clip, his parachute is deployed and he continues to glide over the park, with the iconic blue flats and more captured in the footage.

With cloudy but dry conditions, Mike was able to safely land at the foot of the hill.

After posting the clips on social media, users were quick to comment on the stunning views seen from Arthur's Seat, with one local even replying that she could see her home in the footage.

Giving an insight into what will be next for both Mike and his stunt team, the base jumper stated on his Instagram that the next stop on their journey will be Glencoe.
