- Marvel fans have gotten their first look at Daredevil's new suit for Born Again season 2
- It comes by way of a leaked image from what seems to be a promo photoshoot
- Many fans are delighted with the costume's authentic design
Marvel fans have given their verdict on the new suit that Daredevil will wear in Born Again season 2 after an image of said costume leaked online.
Over the weekend (November 1 and 2), a photograph of lead actor Charlie Cox wearing Daredevil's iconic Shadowlands suit started circulating online. It's been difficult to identify the original source of the leak, but the image, which appears to be from a professional photoshoot, will likely be used for promotional purposes ahead of Daredevil: Born Again season 2 arriving in early 2026.
Regardless of who leaked the image, it wasn't long before it was shared widely on social media, including by X/Twitter user Warling.

The image, which you can see above, shows Cox's Matt Murdock sporting his famous black ensemble from Marvel Comics. The near-all-black suit comes equipped with a pair of dark-red eye lenses and the vigilante's iconic 'DD' logo adorning the chest piece.
This isn't the first time we've seen this costume. Indeed, behind-the-scenes images of Cox wearing the costume were first glimpsed r/MarvelStudios when season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again was being filmed earlier in 2025. It's certainly a minimalistic albeit sleek-looking costume and, perhaps unsurprisingly, it's been positively received by Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) fans. In the hours since the leaked images dropped, large swathes of the the Disney+ show's audience have lavished praise on the suit's live-action adaptation.
On X/Twitter, users captaincupcakes wrote "the best Daredevil has ever looked", schwayjohn said "by far and away the best live action Daredevil suit yet", teeceecomics typed out "I hope this is real cos [sic] this is a top three Daredevil suit, and it ain't [sic] two or three", and mcuspideydaily simply said "it's beautiful".
Meanwhile, on Reddit, vast-platform3647 said "is this one of the best costumes in the MCU? Looking this reminds me of those first Iron Man pictures in 2007", tharkus wrote "he looks so badass", and direct-locksmith-420 stated "finally, the damn logo".

There are some who think Marvel Studios could have done more with the suit design, though. On X/Twitter, user tylerayyeee tweaked the leaked image to make the eye lenses more prominent, and colored in the suit's forearms, belt, and leg holster to make it look even more like the character's Shadowlands outfit. Elsewhere, Redditors a_o and Rockalot_L also commented on the eye lenses, albeit in a more amusing manner.
