Dapo Mebude accuses 'Rangers' fans of racism as brave academy striker reveals sickening taunts

Dapo Mebude has hit out at 'Rangers' fans after being subjected to vile abuse during a video game session.

The highly-rated Ibrox academy star was left sickened by disgusting taunts aimed in his direction after playing FIFA online.

The 19-year-old - regarded as one of the best young players at Rangers - couldn't hide his frustration as he posted on Twitter about his nightmare experience.

He said: "Some “Rangers” fans being racist towards my family over a game of FIFA.

Before adding: "Go back to the cotton fields” “you’d be better with a chain in your mouth” making whipping noises."

Rangers have worked tirelessly to unite people from different backgrounds with their ‘Everyone Anyone’ campaign.

Managing director Stewart Robertson has spoken passionately about making the Ibrox side an industry leader in diversity moving forward.

Skipper James Tavernier and star defender Connor Goldson have both lifted the lid on the vile taunts they have suffered on social media in the past.
