Dapo Afolayan scored his sixth goal of the season for Bolton Wanderers as his equaliser helped to inspire a comeback against Charlton Athletic.
Wanderers went behind at the Valley in the first half thanks to Josh Davison's opener, but Afolayan equalised on the stroke of half-time as Bolton went in level at the break.
Kieran Lee then struck twice after the break before skipper Antoni Sarcevic slotted home in injury time as Wanderers picked up three points and moved up to seventh in the League One table.
Ian Evatt made a total of four changes before the game and they paid off as he rotated his squad, with 888 travelling Wanderers fans watching their team win at the Valley against the struggling Addicks.
Afolayan's goal was his fifth this campaign in League One and sixth of the season in all competitions as he impressed once more in a Wanderers shirt.
He joined Bolton initially in January on loan from Premier League side West Ham United, before making a permanent move to the University of Bolton Stadium over the summer following his release by the Hammers.
He put pen to paper on a three-year deal at Wanderers, but it is clear he still has fond links to the London Stadium, as was demonstrated after the win over the Addicks.
Following the full-time whistle at the Valley, Afolayan was spotted making his way into the stands where he greeted Wanderers chairman Sharon Brittan.
And alongside Brittan was West Ham captain Mark Noble, who also greeted Afolayan following his performance against Charlton, with the trio having a conversation and pictures together.
The Hammers skipper is a friend of the Wanderers chairman and was at the Valley on Tuesday evening to watch Bolton in League One action and see them move up to seventh in the table.
Wanderers are next in action on Saturday afternoon when they host Shrewsbury Town at the University of Bolton Stadium.
