Danske Bank Premiership live streams - where to watch your team this weekend

Many supporters will miss out on watching their team kick-off the new Danske Bank Premiership this weekend.

Under current government restrictions only a very limited number of fans can attend their club's home fixtures.

It has left many wondering how they can follow their team on the opening weekend.

Well, the good news is that there are currently plans to live stream five of the six games.

Here's some more information...

Coleraine vs Ballymena United, Fri 7.45pm

Big provincial derby kicks off the new season on Friday night.

Supporters who are unable to get a ticket can watch the game on the BBC.

It is being streamed on the BBC Sport NI website and on BBCiPlayer.

Linfield vs Carrick, Sat 3pm

Linfield fans unable to get to Windsor Park for Saturday's Premiership opener will be able to watch the game live from the comfort of their homes.

The champions have announced a partnership between Linfield TV and 247.tv for the live steaming of the clash against Carrick Rangers.

The cost of the package is £7.50 per person.

Cliftonville vs Glentoran, Sat 3pm

Cliftonville have launched a new streaming service for fans ahead of the new Danske Bank Premiership season.

Starting with Saturday’s Danske Bank Premiership opener with Glentoran, live match coverage can be purchased for just £7 (which includes access to a full replay of the action), while a delayed stream will cost £3.

The Reds are using the same service as Linfield.

Glenavon vs Portadown, Sat 5.30pm

Massive Mid Ulster derby at Mourneview Park on Saturday evening as Portadown return to the top flight.

The home side will have 400 fans at the game, and there will be live coverage of the game on the BBC Sport NI website and on BBCiPlayer.

Larne vs Dungannon Swifts, Sat 3pm

Larne are also offering a live stream of Saturday's game against Dungannon Swifts.

Fans can get it on the same format Linfield and Cliftonville are using - 247.tv/niprem

Warrenpoint vs Crusaders, Sat 3pm

Warrenpoint Town take on Crusaders at Milltown on Saturday.

At present we are not aware of any plans to stream the game.

If that changes we will update.
