Danny Welbeck brilliantly trolls ex-Arsenal teammates, Chelsea and Man United stars on Instagram

Former Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck has done his best to fill the void of live football with some brilliant entertainment on social media.

With the Premier League season currently on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic, Welbeck has found time to reflect on one of his most outrageous pranks.

Uploading several clips to his Instagram stories, the 29-year-old can be seen snatching phones out of several players' hand and referred to the playful joke as "gimme dat".

Among those trolled by Welbeck were former Arsenal teammates Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (although he wasn't able to find the footage), Alexandre Lacazette, Nacho Monreal, Matteo Guendouzi, Eddie Nketiah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Shkodran Mustafi.

But it wasn't just Gunners stars who were at the end of Welbeck's prank.

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Manchester United duo Marcus Rashford and Phil Jones as well as Tottenham Hotspur's Eric Dier and Ashley Young were also trolled.

This prompted some hilarious reactions from some players.

In particular, an angry Lacazette made a gesture that Welbeck would not have appreciated, while Rashford and Loftus-Cheek were among those to give the Watford star a cold stare.

On the pitch, It’s been yet another season of frustration for Welbeck.

He was injured in October and returned four months later.

Welbeck has started just six league games for Watford to date, and could even find himself a Championship player by the start of 2020/21.
