Danny Rose unsure over Tottenham future due to club's transfer policy

Danny Rose is unsure if he will be a Tottenham player next season amid transfer speculation linking him with a move away.

The left-back's future remains unresolved but his improvement in the final months of the season could see him offered a new contract.

Everton have been linked with interest in recent days, coinciding with Tottenham's reported own interest in Lucas Digne.

Rose turns 29 next month and still has two years to run on his contract so could be sold this summer for as big a fee as possible, and the defender is relaxed about what lies ahead.

"If I am [at Tottenham next season] great, if not great," he told Sky Sports.

"It's no secret I've been linked with a move in the media, and it's the club's policy to move players on when they reach a certain age."

Kieran Trippier has also been linked with a move away as Napoli explore a deal, while Toby Alderweireld can be purchased for a cut-price £25 million before the end of July.
