Danny Rose had an explosive meeting with Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho in his office back in January that ultimately led to him joining Newcastle United on loan.
The scenes were aired in episode five of Amazon Prime Video's documentary 'All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur', that was released this morning.
After a light-hearted start to the documentary, episode five explodes into life with the future of Rose and Christian Eriksen up in the air.
Famed for his honesty, and saying it how it is, Rose storms into Mourinho's office after being selected just once in six matches since Christmas.
The England international demands answers from the former Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Manchester United boss and says: "I just want to know exactly what the problem is.
"If you don't want me to play, I'd rather you just tell me now, and I'll stay at home."
Mourinho then tells Rose that he has not been selected because of a poor performance in a home defeat to Premier League champions Liverpool.
Rose doesn't accept the explanation, though, and fires back.
"Other people have been s*** in training, s*** in games, but are in the squad every game," he continues.
"It's not fair. It's facts. The whole changing room know it's facts. Not fair."
Mourinho praises Rose for his honesty but the 30-year-old walks out of the office after getting nowhere.
He joined Newcastle on loan weeks later and has not played for Tottenham since.
