Danny Rohl's exit from Rangers has been confirmed as the German was appointed as RB Salzburg's new boss.
The news that the Austrian side were targeting the 37-year-old broke last year and it also became evident he was open to moving closer to his family still based in Germany, though he was not pushing for the move.
Talks kicked off between the clubs and an agreement was finally reached for the Ibrox club to recieve a hefty seven-figure fee in compensation.
Rangers are set to appoint Derek McInnes as Rohl's replacement on a three-year deal after approaching Hearts when it became clear Rohl would likely be moving on. An announcement on that is expected imminently.

Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh said : “I’d like to thank Danny for his service and commitment to Rangers.
"He and his staff put in a significant amount of hard work during his time in charge, which we are greatly appreciative of.
“We wish them the best of luck moving forward.”
The club added that a further update on their management situation would come in due course.
