Danny Miller set to return to Emmerdale as Aaron Dingle following explosive exit in storyline

Danny Miller has returned to filming on Emmerdale, after a dramatic storyline kept him away from the hit ITV soap last month.

The actor's character Aaron Dingle made a shock departure from the village in January after suffering a mental breakdown following a string of explosive ordeals.

Scrap yard worker Aaron's breakdown lead to his divorce from husband Robert Sugden.

His on-screen partner's Robert seeked a divorce came from behind bars after he decided that cutting Aaron out of his life was the best thing for him to do so that he could move on from their failed relationship.

This then caused Aaron to turn to the drink which ultimately saw him end up in very dangerous situations.

But a switch flicked in his mind after he was almost robbed at a sex party, before being attacked by another party-goer.

Aaron soon realised he had no choice but to seek help if he wanted to get out of this funk.

After his emotional exit from the village, divorced Aaron left his business behind before going to live with his cousin Debbie in Scotland.

But despite the drama, Danny returned to filming last month and will soon be seen back on our screens.

A source told Sun Online : "Fans have definitely missed Aaron on screen but they won't have long to wait until he's back in the village where he belongs.

In another project, Danny has finished filming his directorial debut PACE which boasts an impressive all-star cast.

Siobhan Finneran features alongside Hollyoaks actor Daniel Jillings, Joe Gill and ex Corrie star Dean Fagan.
