The 30-year-old midwife said: "He tried to test his gag reflex while we were on holiday in Lanzarote - he ordered some battered squid and couldn't do one bite without gagging.

"He has such a bad gag reflex, during isolation before he went in to the castle, he was gagging over Alberts nappies, that was a particularly bad one.

"I'm hoping Albert is going to be a bit braver than his dad!"

Danny will face I'm A Celebrity's Dreaded Diner challenge in tonight's episode - and partner Steph isn't surprised after he confessed to having a terrible gag reflex and swallowing his own sick during the helicopter ride in.

The soap star will take on the eating challenge,
going head to head with one of the stars from the Main Camp - who will be revealed during tonight's episode.

The former Aaron Dingle actor is one of the most famous campers in the series of the hit reality TV show this series but has faced some fierce backlash over deciding to go on the show so soon after having a baby.

Fiance Steph explained, she told Lorraine: "Obviously been a really hard decision for him with it being so close to Albert's birth but he's always loved the show and always wanted to do it.

"It's such a massive opportunity for him that will hopefully open up more doors and mean he can have more time with Albert in the future.

"It was the biggest opportunity of his career and hopefully it will open up more doors for him which will mean he will have more time off with Albert next year and he won't have to work Monday to Friday 7am-7pm."

"We have just had two weeks in isolation together so we feel so privileged to have had that time, we wouldn't have had that otherwise."

Asked how she thinks Danny will cope with the boredom, Steph added: "He doesn't get bored easily, he is good at making entertainment, he will start doing some impressions or a talent show - he will probably keep other people going.

"He is in awe of David Ginola, he will have so many questions for him but won't want to bombard him - he's a massive football fan."

The new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues at 9pm tonight on ITV.
