Danny Miller admits he's 'a muppet' as he shares hilarious reality of parenting

Emmerdale star Danny Miller has delighted fans with a hilarious update on the realities of parenthood as he admits to being "a muppet" while looking after his son Albert.

The 32-year-old actor is married to Steph Miller and they are proud parents of Albert. The couple recently announced they are expecting baby number two.

The former I'm A Celeb winner often keeps his 709k Instagram followers updated with his life as a fairly new dad. In true Danny Miller style his stories are always humorous, whilst shining a light on what its really like to have a toddler.

In his latest story Danny spoke about taking over from Steph this morning during Albert's morning routine. He joked: "I bet you're sat there thinking god he even works on Fridays, dad's life, yeah I do work Friday's so we're just going to finish off the last of our breakfast, because apparently 'it's a nightmare, you don't understand how hard it is when he has his breakfast, its a nightmare', he mocked his wife.

"But he has eaten half a bowl for me and he's going to eat the other half, just thought I'd show you the upgrade that I've gone for. Dad's life. Not washed my hair again, yeah I know I probably should you're right.

"But you know this is what mum's do isn't it, they just get up, bang it in a pony, scruffy bun, and get on with the day. So that's what I've done today. So I'm going to show you the upgrade that I've made to dad life. I'm after a job with a company called moo music because I know all the songs and I'm great at it. Aren't I Albert?!" he turned to his son sat in his high-chair.

Danny joked that he's that good 'moo music' should give him a job (Instagram)

He proceeded to sing '10 fat sausages sizzling in a pan' to Albert, while dancing around the kitchen and attempting to get Albert to finish his breakfast, before moving on to another song about trains. Danny tagged @moomusic as he captioned the post: "You got any jobs going?".

Danny then returned to the camera to report back how his new tactics to get Albert to eat his breakfast had gone. He continued: "And there you have it dad's, I danced around and I sang around like an absolute muppet this morning, just to make sure that my son had a nice breakfast and guess what....

"He didn't, he didn't eat it, he ate a little bit but he has a big appetite and he eats lots in the morning.... for mummy, of course. For daddy...you must be joking, not interested, get me out my chair dad, I want to go and play football, which is what he's doing now. Yeah at least he's laughing, have a great day dads."

It comes just a month after Danny and Steph announced they were expecting a new addition to the family. Last month Danny took to Instagram to reveal that Steph is pregnant again as she proudly showed off her baby bump.

He captioned the post: "We can’t wait for another best friend. "Super excited to become a family of 4." Danny took to the comments with a heartfelt message as he said: "I love you all." This prompted the actor's former Emmerdale co-stars rushed to the comment reaction to congratulate the couple.

Isobel responded to the happy news and said: "Can't wait." Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle, said: "CONGRATULATIONS to you all….what wonderful news……more to love….PERFECT."

Laura Norton, who plays Kerry Wyatt, added: "Amazing." Natalie Ann Jamieson, who plays Amy Wyatt, commented: "Congratulations." Jay Kontzle, who plays Billy Fletcher, posted: "Congratulations guys so happy for you."
