Tim Burton and Danny Elfman are responsible for some of the greatest moments in film history. In celebration of their 30-year partnership, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will perform Elfman’s scores from some of Burton’s films. Grammy Award-winner and four-time Oscar nominee Elfman, who also penned the theme song for The Simpsons, has written the scores for 16 of Burton’s films.
The orchestra will play pieces from The Nightmare before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice, which will be accompanied by stunning visuals including Tim Burton’s original sketches, drawings, story boards and film clips.
