Danny Dyer uses BAFTA TV Awards to call David Cameron a 't***' for second time

Danny Dyer used a presenting opportunity at this year’s BAFTA TV awards to take yet another swipe at former Prime Minister David Cameron.

Taking to the stage at the Royal Festival Hall, Danny was called on to present the ‘Must See TV Moment’ award alongside Holly Willoughby.

As the pair arrived on stage, the This Morning presenter asked Danny if he was happy to be presenting the award.

He asked her if he was one of the nominations, to which Holly said “no”.

Danny joked: “I should have been nominated for calling Cameron a t***, but we'll let it go. We'll let it go for now.

“They did tell me not to say it so I'm just going to read that. The nominations are..."

Danny’s quip referred to a previous appearance on Good Morning Britain, where he called the former PM a “t***” during a rant on Brexit .

His comments at the BAFTA TV Awards send social media into a spin, with many praising him for his bold attitude.

One viewer tweeted: “Love Danny Dyer #bafta.”

Some viewers called him a “British icon”, suggesting he get a knighthood for his outspoken views.

However, not everyone was as impressed by the actor, with one person commenting: “Danny Dyer's the t***. Just can't control himself, can he?”, while another claimed he deserved a “slap”.
