Danny Dyer 'turned away from two bars after bouncers fail to recognise him' on night out

Danny Dyer discovered the answer to the eternal question ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ when bouncers at the entrance of a bar appeared to tell him ‘no’ on Saturday morning.

The 44-year-old EastEnders star was reportedly out on the town in London over the weekend and keen to carry on partying the night away once bars shut.

Danny attempted to gain entry to the W Hotel in Leicester Square in an effort to carry on his night, but bouncers at the swanky central London location denied him entry.

And the star reportedly couldn’t sweet talk his way past the heavies at the front door as his celebrity status did nothing to change his chances.

The Sun on Sunday claims that the TV star still managed to smile for fans as he was asked for selfies in the aftermath of his rejection.

Dyer had reportedly been partying with pals at Soho House before heading to private members’ club Quo Vadis at midnight where he stayed until 2am.

Not wishing to end the night then, the star is said to have tired to get into the W Hotel, only to be told no – and then tried his luck at a bar-nightclub called Freedom, but had no luck there either.

He is then said to have started a search for a taxi to take him home.

An eyewitness told publication: “Danny was prowling the streets at 2am as he wanted to carry on partying.

“He seemed to be in a good mood and just wanted to continue his evening out with his mates, but sadly for him the bouncers weren’t having any of it.

“Fellow revellers were mega excited to recognise him and cheered when he agreed to pose for pictures. He was being really friendly and full of banter.”

Danny has recently been on holiday with his Love Island winning daughter Dani Dyer – who has been trying to escape her troubles following the conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Sammy Kimmence.

Dani, 25, and Sammy became parents at the beginning of the year as the reality star – who won the 2019 series of Love Island alongside now ex-boyfriend Jack Fincham – welcomed a son named Santiago.

But disaster struck the young family as 25-year-old Sammy was found guilty of fraud after he conned two elderly men out of over £34,000 to fund his own luxury lifestyle.

Sammy was sentenced to three and a half years behind bars after he plead guilty to his crimes at Portsmouth Crown Court in July.

Dani, her dad, and other family members – including, of course, baby Santiago, jetted away earlier this month as the reality star rang in her birthday.

While recent reports suggested she was leaning on her family to get her through her relationship crisis.

A source close to the family told New! Magazine: “Dani’s split from Sammy has been tough on everyone. It’s emotionally draining. Dani is so close to her dad and he’s been a real shoulder to cry on. He’s been her strength and really helped her pull through everything.”
