Danny Dyer leads I'm A Celebrity line-up rumours with Chris Kamara and Tom Daley also tipped

Danny Dyer is being hotly tipped to appear on the new series of I'm A Celebrity, ahead of making his exit from EastEnders.

Danny, famous for being in films like The Business and Football Factory, has been playing Queen Vic landlord MIck Carter in the BBC soap since 2013, but is widely reported to be making a dramatic exit in the coming months, after his on-screen family have been involved in some dramatic storylines, including Linda's car accident which saw Janine frame her for drink-driving, unbeknown yo Mick and even Linda herself, who has been led to believe she put her life and baby daughter Annie's life in danger.

Speaking about his EastEnders departure at the recent British Soap Awards, Danny said the storyline would have an 'epic ending,' but was still in negotiations about what would happen and if Mick would ever return. While fans wait to see how things will play out in Albert Square, Danny has been made 10/11 favourite with bookies BetVictor to be a contestant on I'm A Celebrity this year.

Long-serving hosts Ant and Dec broke the news that the much loved ITV show well return to Australia this year, having been in Wales for the last two and, as well as Danny, other famous faces well fancied to take part include rumoured love interest of Boris Johnson, Jennifer Acuri, Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara and Olympic diving champion Tom Daley.

Other high up in the odds are now retired football referee Mike Dean and ex Apprentice contestant Thomas Skinner.

Those stars who end up going into the jungle this year, will be aiming to follow in the footsteps of Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, who triumphed over Simon Gregson in the final in December.

On who might be doing I'm a Celebrity this year, BetVictor's Sam Boswell said; “I’m a Celeb is finally back in Australia this year, after temporarily relocating to Wales. The show is always popular with the British public and always brings a variety of stars together. Favourite to go on the show is Danny Dyer, at 10/11, after he quit EastEnders earlier this year.”

“Thomas Skinnner and Mike Dean are also favourites to appear on the show this year, with both sitting at 1/1. Thomas shot to fame after appearing on The Apprentice in 2019 and became well-known and loved for his bubbly persona. Alongside Thomas is Mike Dean, retired football referee, well-known for dishing out the red cards throughout his career.”

“While it is likely that Boris Johnson will continue his political career as an MP, in previous series, former contestants on I'm a Celeb have been closely linked to politicians. It is possible that previous confidents of Johnson could appear in the jungle including Jennifer Arcuri at 1/16, with Dominic Cummings following at 33/1."
