Danny Ainge appeared to take a shot at Kyrie Irving, saying Celtics need ‘good people’

Kyrie Irving’s time with the Boston Celtics is all but over, as he’s likely going to sign with a new team once free agency begins next week.

In the past few weeks there’s been a report of him “ghosting” the team during the offseason and one about the guard having poor relationships with young players on the Celtics as well as not liking living in Boston.

Here’s what he had to say:

“I think it just makes life more enjoyable when everybody is humble, hard-working, and will play any role they have to to help the team succeed. You do have to have a certain amount of talent to win in our league, as we all know, but good people makes coming to work more fun.”

Here’s video of it:

Yeah, he was definitely addressing the Kyrie situation there.
