Danniella Westbrook has posted a cryptic message on Instagram about narcissists and psychopaths amid rumours she is engaged.
The mum-of-two sent fans into a frenzy recently when she uploaded a snap of her wearing a huge sparkler on her left hand.
While Danniella didn't reference the ring - her followers were thrilled to see her looking so happy.
However the actress has now taken to Instagram with a lengthy post slating people who get a kick out of "deflating hope".
It read: "Empathetic people attempt to soothe your fears, or at the very least provide comforting support when you are anxious about the outcome.
"On the other hand malignant narcissistic and psychopathic individuals get a special thrill out of fear-mongering and deflating hope.
"Share your fears with a malignant narcissist, and they will do everything possible to exacerbate them. They specialise in manufacturing horror, even when there is none."
Danniella also told fans she was writing her third autobiography, posting: We all experience this at some point … some of us more than others … which has prompted me to start writing my third autobiography….
"Each one has been ten years apart and I have been extremely fortunate to reach many people with the last two being best sellers ….
"So expect the third one next year."
The actress, 48, was recently taken to hospital after suffering from a "nasty sinus infection", just days after she vowed that she would "get clean".
Posting on her Instagram Story, Danniella shared a picture of an ambulance at a hospital, which she captioned "back again".
She shared a post which said: "Tomorrow is not promised”, with the full message reading: “Tell someone you love them today. Because tomorrow is not promised. To my family and my friends, I love you."
It is believed the actress has been told she must discuss surgical options to prevent mucus from her infection spreading to her brain.
She is said to have talked to a cancer palliative team about her options but sources were adamant she is still in remission and nothing to do with a recent relapse.
A source told Daily Star Online : "She is out of ICU now. She is being seen by a cancer palliative specialist over the next few days to discuss options and surgery to stop this from happening again."
Danniella appeared in EastEnders as Sam Mitchell from 1990 to 2016.
However she was written out of the script on several occasions due to her drug habit in the late 90s and early 00s.
