Christopher Maloney and Danniella Westbrook’s Jeremy Kyle appearance won’t be aired following the tragic death of show guest.
The pals were meant to appear on a special celebrity version of The Jeremy Kyle Show on Tuesday, but the episode has been pulled along with the normal episodes, which have been suspended ‘indefinitely’.
Promoting the episode, the ITV daytime programme, which is filmed at MediaCityUK in Salford, tweeted on Friday: "It was great having @westbrookdanni back in the studio, you can watch the interview on Tuesday in another BRAND NEW show!"
The episode was a follow up to former Eastenders star Daniella’s road to recovery following a stint in rehab.
Christopher, who found fame on X Factor in 2012, informed his followers on Twitter that it will be aired “at a later date”.
He added that his “thoughts are with the family” of the deceased.
He tweeted: “Hi guys, just spoken to the producers @ITVJeremyKyle and our celebrity special will be aired at a later date @westbrookdanni will keep you updated. In the meantime, my thoughts are with the family at this time.”
Christopher recently shared photos of his seventh hair transplant, which cost £5,000 and was done at KSL Clinic in Manchester.
In a statement released by ITV, show bosses revealed they had taken the decision not to air the episode.
A spokeswoman for the channel said: "Everyone at ITV and The Jeremy Kyle Show is shocked and saddened at the news of the death of a participant in the show a week after the recording of the episode they featured in and our thoughts are with their family and friends. "ITV will not screen the episode in which they featured.
"Given the seriousness of this event, ITV has also decided to suspend both filming and broadcasting of The Jeremy Kyle Show with immediate effect in order to give it time to conduct a review of this episode of the show."
