Danniella Westbrook's daughter Jodie has 'never met' mum's jailbird fiancé

Danniella Westbrook 's daughter Jodie has 'never met' her mum's jailbird fiancé, just months before they’re due to tie the knot.

The former EastEnders star, 48, is awaiting the release of her partner David, who is two decades younger than her, and once he’s free in 11 months, they will exchange vows in a romantic ceremony in the Maldives.

However, Danniella’s youngest child has revealed her thoughts on the union, and confessed she has yet to meet her mum’s beau.

Jodie said while she and her mum have reconciled, she’s not sure if she’ll be trending the nuptials, which will take place in the luxury location next year.

“I'm not sure, to be honest, but that sounds like mum as no doubt it will be extravagant,” she told the Daily Star.

“I've never met him, no, never, so I don't really know what he is like but he seems nice from what I've heard,” Jodie added.

She said she had no plans to meet her future stepfather, and while she’s getting on “a lot better” with her mum, Jodie doesn’t think she’ll be visiting David in jail anytime soon.

She said she’s letting Danniella “get on with her love life”, and they’re keen to keep out of each other’s personal lives.

“I don't really get involved with all that, I let her get on with her love life, and she lets me get on with mine, and that's just how it's always worked."

The social media influencer said Danniella and David met in Marbella, and the actress is awaiting her fiancé's release so they can cement their relationship with a fairytale wedding overseas.

When asked if Jodie would be planning her mum’s hen party, she laughed and said if it was up to her, it’d be a far cry from Danniella’s showbiz lifestyle.

“A chilled night in and a takeaway,” she said.

Jodie previously said she wanted to follow in her mum’s footsteps and become an actress, but social media and advertising “took me completely away from that”.

“I grew up with my goal to be an actress or in West End musicals. I did a few musicals in school but I was going to go to Sylvia Young and follow in my mum's footsteps,” she shared.
