Danniella Westbrook reveals what she hopes to look like after reconstructive surgery on her face

Danniella Westbrook has revealed what she hopes to look like after undergoing reconstructive surgery on her face.

The 49-year-old former EastEnders star must still endure several more procedures to correct the aftermath of her cocaine addiction, which she has since recovered from, and osteoporosis.

But taking to Instagram on Tuesday night, the actor opened up about her hopes for her upcoming surgery and her appearance goals after receiving a stunning makeover from ‘an amazing makeup artist’.

The mother-of-two, who has opted to have two further surgeries in Turkey to reconstruct her face, wrote: “Nothing like a bloody amazing makeup artist and some heavy contouring.

“Makes me excited for how I'm going to look by [the] end of Feb! Been a long time coming but I'm on my way back.”

Her upcoming cosmetic procedure will be scheduled ahead of her return to the screen, with the second procedure scheduled for after the festive period.

In November, Danniella told The Sun : “I go away next week to Turkey to have another face operation and then another one after Christmas.”

Back in 2018, she had already undergone a rib insertion procedure after osteoporosis - a health condition which weakens the bones in the body - caused her cheekbones and gums to rot.

She has also undergone lip filler and Botox, as well as surgery on her face, in order to feel like her best self.

The actor’s fight with drug addiction has often been a topic in the limelight, while Danniella underwent a highly-publicised nose reconstruction in 2002 after her septum collapsed from cocaine abuse.

During the peak of her addiction, Daniella would reportedly take up to five grams of the drug per day, spending almost £250,000 on her addiction.

The actor shared the good news that she was finally sober in June after going to multiple rehab centres. Her last visit was to a clinic in Mijas, Spain.

The star first rose to fame after appearing in the BBC soap in 1990 at just 16 years old, where she worked for three years as Sam Mitchell.

She made her return to Albert Square in 1996, but was let go after bosses caught wind of her off-screen habits.

She returned for a brief stint, but was fired once again in 2000 after her behaviour worsened, when she admitted she spent £100k on cocaine during that time.

Her role was recast during the years 2002 and 2005, when Kim Medcalf took over the part of Sam. However, Danniella finally returned to the series between 2009 and 2010.
