Danniella Westbrook has opened up about her hopes for a surprising career change.
Danniella has revealed she wants to be a therapist , to help others get over their addictions now she's clean herself.
The former EastEnders star has had a well documented battle with drug addiction and has admitted the only way she can stay off drugs is to help others - reports Mirror Online.
Speaking to Victoria Derbyshire, she said: "I think personally for me the only thing that's going to stop me is keeping to the programme, helping others, helping the newcomer and getting involved with the treatment centre.
"I'm hoping this September to start my therapist course so I can become a therapist."
Danniella says she is trying for qualifications in social care and is hoping to get her own rehab centre set up in the next 12 months.
She said: "There's so many people out there crying out for it and young people as well."
The actress revealed that she's going to AA every day, and is feeling the best she's felt in six years.
She credits her son Kai Jenkins, 22, for forcing her to get the help she needed.
Danniella said: "I tried to kill myself daily really through using and drinking alcohol and also on top of that I had the cancer diagnosis, which I just ignored for 12 months until my son gave up his house and moved in with me and was constantly on at me to see what I was doing with my life."
She's clean once more after being sent to rehab by her friend Jeremy Kyle , during an appearance on his now-axed ITV show.
Danniella appeared on show and admitted she'd still be doing 11 bags of cocaine a day if she could afford it.
She went to rehab immediately after and told fans all about her journey.
And after rehab in April, Danniella was also given the all-clear from her womb cancer, after undergoing an operation to remove the tumours.
