Danniella Westbrook has been left distraught after Monzo closed her only bank account.
The former EastEnders actress took to Twitter on Wednesday to plead with the online bank to re-open her account as her bad credit history means she can't open one elsewhere.
The 48-year-old also revealed that her other bank accounts have all been closed down due to her bad credit, and she was not told that her Monzo account was going to close 'after years' of being a loyal customer.
Taking to Twitter to try to get to the bottom of the issue, Danniella said that closing down her only remaining bank account has left her distraught amid her battle with anxiety and other mental health problems.
"I’ve been with Monzo for years and at 7am, I get a text saying my accounts being closed. Yet no one can tell me why," the former Sam Mitchell actress complained.
"I suffer mental health anxiety and I’m currently in hospital.
"I have bad credit and no other bank will give me an account and you won’t tell me why it’s being closed."
In another tweet, Danniella said that the people who were behind closing her bank account ruined her day.
"If you wanna wake up to bad news, anxiety and no straight answer from anyone, then just join Monzo.
"They are just amazing at screwing up your day."
Danniella's moneydrama comes after the former soap star responded to claims she is being replaced on EastEnders as Sam Mitchell.
The 48-year-old soap star rose to fame in the BBC series and became known for portraying the role of Sam across 36 years until 2016.
Since Danniella's character left Walford Square, there have been no plans for her to return.
But recent reports claim Danniella's character Sam is returning - although she says she has not been contacted by the BBC about it.
An article teased Sam's return as Phil Mitchell is set to disappear with Raymond.
Commenting on the news over on her Instagram, she wrote: " The @bbceastenders have not contacted me to say they are re casting or if they have. But that’s ok. Who plays Sam next I wish all the luck in the world to. Enjoy. #outwiththeoldinwiththenew."
Last year, a spokesperson for the soap revealed there were no plans for Danniella to make a return to the soap after she teased her comeback.
