A Place in the Sun star Danni Menzies has revealed that she has been left with a facial scar after being knocked down by a stolen moped earlier this month.
The 33-year-old made a post on Instagram dedicated to her mum, who has been by her side since the accident happened. Danni previously told fans on Instagram that she had been "taken out" by the vehicle after it lost control while riding on the pavement.
The Channel 4 host also said that her injuries weren't "looking pretty", so much so that the Face ID facial recognition system on her iPhone wasn't recognising her.
And now Danni has admitted that getting a new hair cut has helped hide the scarring slightly. Writing on Instagram, she thanked her mum for being by her side through the tough time, she wrote: "Mum (heart emoji) A few weeks of hiding away and I’m getting back to normal, gonna have a scar but seems I got a fringe cut at the right time! Little wins. Very luck to have had this woman reorganising my life and keeping me occupied for the last week."
And fans took to the comments to send Danni their best wishes. One wrote: "Hope you're healing well my darling."
Another added: "So lucky to have your wonderful mummy! Hope you are ok darling!" While one penned: "A scar on top of an amazing personality, just when you thought Danni couldn't be more badass."
"Keep healing Danni, beautiful woman just keep smiling, with family around everything is always gonna be good."
