Danilo sends message over Man City future amid Inter Milan transfer rumours

Danilo has hinted that he will be at Manchester City next season, despite rumours linking him with a move to Inter Milan.

For the second successive season, Danilo has played back-up to Kyle Walker at right back, while Oleks Zinchenko has been preferred as a deputy left-back when Benjamin Mendy has been out.

The Brazilian has impressed whenever he has been given the opportunity, but it seems likely that he will be a fringe player again next season.

That has prompted reports claiming he is close to a move away from City, with Inter Milan said to be close to completing a deal. Some reports have even suggested Danilo has agreed personal terms and the two clubs just need to agree a fee.

However, after taking part in City's victory parade through the centre of Manchester earlier this week, Danilo posted a picture to Instagram that appeared to suggest he is going nowhere.

Alongside a picture with the FA Cup, Danilo said: "Time to rest! See you in 2019/2020."

Danilo, 27, made just 22 appearances this season, half of which came away from the Premier League. He scored one goal.
