Danilho Doekhi admits he's flattered by "very beautiful" Rangers and suggested he's open to a January transfer.
The Ibrox side have long been linked with centre-back as he approaches the final six months of his deal at Vitesse Arnhem.
Rangers would be free to commence pre-contract talks with the 23-year-old now amid uncertainty over the future of Connor Goldson.
Doekhi says he's also aware of Serie A interest from Napoli, insisting both they and Rangers are "very beautiful".

"I am the type of defender, for which there is less attention in the Netherlands," he told gelderlander.nl.
"The Dutch are into attacking football. Yoga Bonito. It doesn't bother me. My style now brings me here.
"Of course I get the stories of Napoli and Rangers. I am flattered. Scotland is passion. In Italy you really learn how to defend yourself.
"Both are very beautiful.”
Doekhi said on Wednesday that his preference would be to make his next move during the summer, but confessed he would take the right opportunity if it emerged in January.
He added: “That's just how football works. A winter transfer is not ideal. You get in somewhere halfway. But if an opportunity comes up, I shouldn't let it go..
Rangers are also considering Hearts star John Souttar as an option should they not tie Goldson down to a new contract.
The 29-year-old's Ibrox deal expires at the end of May, with the Premiership champions launching a fresh push to agree terms last week.
