Danielle Lloyd confirmed she has suffered a miscarriage in a heartbreaking post to her Instagram stories yesterday.
The 35-year-old model was expecting her fifth child and was hoping to have a baby girl.
She shared the heartbreaking news with an image that read: "I may have only held you in my womb for a moment but I will hold you in my heart forever".
Danielle captioned the image with a simple broken heart emoji.
While she tagged her husband Michael O'Neill on the post, she turned off comments.
The comment read: "Thank you for all your lovely messages. Means so much to me and @gint1986 [Michael's Instagram handle]."
She has not shared any other details regarding her baby.
Danielle is already mum to three sons with ex-husband Jamie O'Hara, and has a 21-month-old son with Michael.
The couple allegedly married in a secret low-key ceremony at Walsall Registry office in November 2018.
The couple later went on to have an extravagant celebration in Dubai in April 2019, and revealed they were hoping to try for another baby soon.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said was hoping to conceive a girl naturally and without any gender selection methods.
The model had initially come under fire are admitted she had once considered gender selection for her next child as she was desperate to have a daughter.
Sex selection is illegal in the UK.
