Danielle Lloyd has been criticised for breeding her 18-month-old pedigree dog.
She welcomed two new puppies on Instagram and praised her dog, Fendi, for bringing them into the world.
However, fans have been questioning whether the model and television personality only bred Fendi "for profit", a claim she strongly denies.
On Instagram, Danielle, from Aigburth, said: "A very special day but probably also the most emotional.
"I never realised how much love I had for my dog. Fendi is the most loving, special princess and now a mummy."
"Am so proud of her bringing these gorgeous puppies into the world literally felt like we have done our pregnancies together so being there with her was just so amazing."

While many of Danielle's fans gushed over the puppies saying they were adorable and beautiful, others casted their worries due to dog's age.
One Instagram user commented: " I swear Fendis only a pup herself? Wasn't that long ago you got her?"
Whilst another added: "Puppies are so cute but it saddens me thinking of all the unwanted pedigree and mixed breed dog's in shelters."
Danielle, 37, did not take the comment lightly and replied: ""How do you know why I do and don’t do?"
Jackie Lloyd, Danielle's mum, claimed they were not like other breeders by explaining: "Fendi will not be overbred none of their dogs are but I agree some people just use them as a cash machine and it's so wrong."
Another fan also defended the mum-of-three saying: "What a nasty comment. Breeding for profit? How do you even know the circumstances?"
The model previously told OK! that pregnancy scans showed Fendi would be expecting "five or more babies."
