Danielle Jonas says she's 'less than' sister-in-laws Sophie Turner and Priyanka Chopra

Sisters always seem to be in competition, but add in the fact that you're sisters-in-law with two actresses and the pressure is on.

Danielle Jonas went on the LadyGang podcast on June 27 and expressed her feelings about being the odd one out among the Jonas Brothers' wives.

"The two boys married somebody who, they're actresses, they're out there everyone knows them. And I feel like I'm Danielle, and it's hard," she said.

Danielle married Kevin Jonas in 2009. The two met while on vacation to the Bahamas two years previous. They have two daughters, Alena, nine, and Valentine, six.

The jewellery designer and former hairdresser also said on the podcast: "It's like, 'oh I wanna have something else to my name too.'"

Kevin and his two brothers, Joe and Nick, started their band, the Jonas Brothers, in 2005. They recently released their seventh album The Album, in May of this year.

Joe is married to Sophie Turner, known for her role as Sansa in Game of Thrones and Phoenix in the recent X-Men series. Nick married Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, who after her marriage to Nick changed her name to Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who has starred in the acclaimed TV thriller Quantico.

Danielle admits on the podcast to wanting to feel "like the other girls".

"'Cause then when I'm with the other girls, I feel just less than sometimes. It's weird," she explained.

Kevin joined his wife of 14 years on the podcast, and quickly reassured her he felt similarly with his brothers. "I feel the same way with Nick and Joe, right? Like solo careers, movies, all this stuff. It's like everyone has to find their place."

During the years when the Jonas Brothers disbanded, Nick had a solo career while Joe led his own band DNCE. Kevin shied away from the spotlight, minus the short-lived reality series Married to Jonas that he and his wife starred in.

Nick married Priyanka in 2018 after sliding into her DM's earlier that year. The couple welcomed a daughter, Malti Marie, via surrogacy in January 2022.

Joe and Sophie started dating in 2016 and announced their engagement on Instagram the next year. In 2019, the couple had two weddings, one in Las Vegas and the other in Paris. Together they have two daughters.

The eldest Jonas also hosts Claim to Fame with the youngest Jonas and non-band member, Frankie. The show had a viral moment recently when Tom Hanks' niece Carly Reeves had a meltdown on the show.
