Daniel Sturridge sends out fresh appeal for return of stolen dog as ex-Liverpool star continues search

Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has admitted he feels "broken" after his dog was stolen from his Los Angeles home.

The alleged break-in happened on Monday evening, with Sturridge immediately taking to social media to share the upsetting news that his dog was missing.

In a series of posts, including several videos, the England international explained what happened and desperately launched an appeal for the Pomeranian to be returned.

Sturridge has offered a £20,000-£30,000 reward for the safe return of his dog, Lucci.

The Champions League winner, who is currently without a club, shared a picture of the adorable pet, urging anyone with information to come forward.

Sturridge posted: "If anyone has any information please contact us ASAP. A sizeable reward will be organized. We just want the dog back.

"Send a video of him and we can talk. Dog was stolen from West Hollywood at 11:30 last night."

Another caption read: "He’s still out there somewhere. Everyone please help to bring my dog home."

In an appeal aired by ESPN, the goalscorer pleaded: "He's a really friendly dog, his name is Lucci.

"He's as I said really friendly he loves to play around with people and loves to have fun.

"He's a really, really friendly dog. It's a crazy situation that we're in to be fair. To be in Los Angeles and to have something like this happen.

"But we all pray that something will be resolved and we'll be able to have him back with us.

"If anybody's out there I just feel so broken right now. Like, honestly it's crazy.

"So if anyone's out there that can help please let us know. Thank you."
