Daniel Sturridge sends Jurgen Klopp message to Liverpool fans after Fulham defeat

Daniel Sturridge has told Liverpool fans to trust Jurgen Klopp and the players at Anfield to recover from their awful run of form.

The former striker, who made 90 appearances under Klopp for the Reds while scoring 25 goals and assisting 10 in that time, addressed the insipid performances being displayed by his ex-teammates.

The defending Premier League champions have recorded six consecutive defeats at home while slumping to eighth place in the top flight, their hopes of a top four finish now all but over.

However, Sturridge has backed Liverpool to find a solution to their problems and pinned his hopes on the international break - set to start on March 22 - as a chance for Klopp and his men to reset.

"Great players and managers always figure out the solution to the problems," he wrote on Twitter.

"And I have no doubt @LFC will be back to the team we know and love.

"Played some of the best football in Europe the past 4/5 years so this bad patch feels different. Int break will reset the engine trust me".
