Daniel O'Donnell baffles fans as he says he eats dry cereal with hot cup of water for breakfast every day

Daniel O’Donnell has baffled fans once again as he revealed that he eats dry cereal with a hot cup of water for breakfast every day.

Last week Daniel and his wife Majella went viral and had viewers in stitches as they struggled to get a live stream working.

A week on, the singer shocked Ireland AM host Alan Hughes this morning as he admitted he doesn’t take any milk with his cornflakes.

Going through his usual morning routine on the show alongside fellow country singer Mike Denver, the Donegal man said: “We don’t get up too late now, it varies, we don’t have a certain time for getting up but we’re up early enough and we’ve been out working in the garden.

“We kind of do our own thing really in the morning and I suppose I should show you really.

“Well, I go over to the press and I take out the cornflakes.

“I open up the cornflakes and I just put them in like this into the bowl.

“I don’t drink tea or coffee, so I get a cup and fill it with hot water and I drink and I eat.

“I don’t take milk or anything, just the dry cereal, well Crunchy Nut is what I’m on today. So that’s my breakfast.

“I don’t take milk at all. I don’t take tea, I don’t take coffee so I just take the dry flakes and I eat them with my cup of water.”

Meanwhile, commenting on his hiccup with technology last week, he said he’s thankful he and his wife didn’t say anything too bad during the candid video.

He said: “It was unbelievable, I mean we’re trying our best to negotiate all this computers and social media.

“Now Majella is a hundred percent better than I am, but last week it was just unbelievable.

“We didn’t know obviously that we were on to the whole nation.

“Well thank God we didn’t say anything untoward anyway.”
