Levy sets Tottenham manager timescale
Daniel Levy and Tottenham are aiming to confirm their new manager by the end of the season, football.london understands.
It is now ten days since Levy called time on Jose Mourinho's tenure at Spurs, with Ryan Mason in temporary charge of the north London club.
A host of names have been linked with the vacant job, including Julian Nagelsmann - who is now set to take over at Bayern Munich ahead of next season.
Brendan Rodgers is another name that refuses to go away, but he has insisted he is happy and focused at Leicester City.

Kane sets Spurs challenge
Harry Kane has once again stressed that his main ambition is to be winning major honours.
Kane was crowned Premier League Player of the Year at the London Football Awards on Tuesday evening after another sensational season on a personal level.
However, while he has flourished once again, Spurs have struggled at times and after losing last weekend's Carabao Cup final, it is going to be another trophy-less season for the north London outfit.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, the 27-year-old said: "Individual awards are great, they are fantastic achievements.
"When I look back at the end of my career, these are the things I will go over and take in more but the goal right now as a player is to win team trophies.
"I want to be winning the biggest prizes there is to offer and we are not quite doing that.
"It is bittersweet, I would rather be winning team trophies and this one but it is what it is.
"I am proud to win it, it means it's been a good season on the pitch. So I have got to try and continue what I am doing."

Pochettino's 'painful' message is a warning
Just prior to Tottenham's Champions League final defeat to Liverpool in 2019, Mauricio Pochettino sent a warning to club chairman Levy.
The ex-Spurs boss said: “Now it’s about creating another chapter and to have the clear idea of how we are going to build that new project.
"We need to rebuild. It’s going to be painful.”
Pochettino did manage to sign a handful of new players that summer, with Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon all making moves to north London.
But after more players have come and gone under Mourinho, there could be further changes this summer with a new man in charge.
As such, it appears that Spurs need to rebuild once again to be back to the level they were at during the peak Pochettino years.
Tottenham's recent form has highlighted that the "painful" rebuild needs to take place more than ever this summer, and whoever is appointed as the new manager, the upcoming transfer window will be crucial in their tenure at the north London-based club.
