Daniel Levy 'delighted' with new appointment of ex-government adviser at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur have announced the appointment of Jonathan Turner as a non-executive director.

Turner, who has has over 24 years investment banking experience and is a Tottenham fan, joins the club's board with immediate effect and it is his technological expertise that the club are set to tap into.

The new man at Spurs is a co-founder and former co-president of Qatalyst Partners, a technology-focused investment bank, where he was the lead adviser on major transactions in the consumer technology and software sectors.

Prior to founding Qatalyst, Turner was global head of Credit Suisse's Internet banking group and is also a former adviser to the UK Government on Technology and Finance.

"We are delighted to welcome Jonathan to the Board of Tottenham Hotspur," said Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

"He brings a wealth of international business experience, predominantly in the increasingly critical technology sector, and we look forward to working closely with him.”

The club also announced that: "Jonathan is originally from North London and was awarded a BA with First Class Honours in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at Oxford University in 1994.

"Mr Turner holds a number of board positions, including current Chair of the Investment Committee of Magdalen College, Oxford.

"He spends his time between London and San Francisco and has been a Spurs fan for over 40 years."
