Daniel Levy confirms plans for new feature at Tottenham Hotspur stadium amid fan demands

A new museum is set to be added at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Signs of this new area have been in place since the ground first opened last year, with the facility advertised as a forthcoming attraction on the club's official website.

Chairman Daniel Levy was quizzed over the latest developments around the museum at the new stadium at a special meeting between the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust and the Spurs board.

He confirmed that there would be a museum but that there is a "list of priorities" to work through.

"Based within Warmington House and utilising interpretive media and interactive displays, the museum is designed to tell the club’s history, display club artefacts and encourage the visitor to explore all aspects of the club and its home in Tottenham," reads the online advertisement for the museum on the club website.

Another area of the website promises that it will "tell the story of our club being founded in the heart of Tottenham to becoming one of Europe's powerhouses."

Entry to the museum is set to be free although there is currently no date available for its completion or for it to be opened to the public.

Warmington House is a Grade II listed building on Tottenham High Road that was restored by Spurs as part of their development plan to build a new stadium on the site of White Hart Lane.

It had sat derelict in front of the former home of Tottenham Hotspur prior to the construction of their new 62,214-seater ground.
