Daniel Levy agrees to sell majority of Tottenham stake after resigning as chairman

  • Daniel Levy has agreed to sell most of his share in Tottenham Hotspur to Eight Sports Capital, a company run by American tech billionaire Brooklyn Earick.
  • The agreement involves Eight Sports Capital acquiring a 24.99 per cent stake in Spurs, with Levy, who stepped down as chairman last September after 25 years, expected to make hundreds of millions of pounds.
  • Brooklyn Earick, an engineer turned entrepreneur and CEO of Redacted RnD, is a boyhood Tottenham fan who has raised over £25bn in funds, including from sovereign wealth funds.
  • Eight Sports Capital, a sports investment firm owned by Triller, stated their delight at the agreement and their commitment to supporting Tottenham Hotspur's continued growth and success.
  • Enic remains the majority owner of Tottenham, with the Lewis family holding 70.12 per cent, following a season where the club finished 17th and promised investment.
