Daniel Kinahan heaped praise on a new link-up between MTK Global and two mixed martial arts promotions based in the Middle East.
Fight promoters MTK have teamed up with Brave Combat Federation and KHK Sports with the aim of securing big fights in the region.
KHK Sports is run by a member of the royal family of Bahrain, Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and has boxing, MMA and wrestling among its stables.
They list Kinahan as a 'Special Advisor' to the organisation.
The hope from the link-up is that heavyweights of UK and American sports broadcasting will show fights from 'emerging territories' in the region.
KHK CEO Mohammed Shahid claimed: "MTK has a history of great accomplishments in the combat sports. This partnership is going to establish a new era for combat sports”.
Kinahan added: “This is a monumental move for KHK Sports and MTK Global. Both organizations have been making substantial waves in the international combats sports landscape and combined, the sky is the limit in what they can achieve.
"The only way for the sport to truly grow and be accessible to all, is to make it a truly global sport and this partnership will ensure that boxing is accessible to all in the Middle East and open the region to international opportunities.”
