Everton are interested in signing Sheffield United teenager Daniel Jebbison.
The 18-year-old scored against the Blues on his full debut for The Blades at Goodison last season.
Rafa Benitez has been studying tapes of Jebbison and believes he can improve the Canada-born striker.
Sheffield United had been preparing to send the young forward out on loan this summer but Everton ’s interest is in signing the player permanently.
The England under-18 international is contracted at Bramall Lane until the end of the 2023 season but Everton are hoping to agree a deal with the Championship side.
Reports tonight have said the Blues value Jebbison at £5m.
The striker has made one substitute appearance for the Blades so far this season, coming off the bench against Carlisle United in the League Cup.
