Former Leeds United and Man City star Danny Mills believes The alternatives to Daniel James that Manchester United should consider in transfer market would be making a mistake if he moves to Manchester United.
Mills has urged the young Swansea City midfielder to avoid the 'turmoil', 'disharmony' and 'discord' at Old Trafford, believing the Welshman wouldn't start ahead of other stars if he made the reported £15million move.
MEN Sport understands James' camp have not yet received contact or concrete interest from United despite speculation mounting that the 21-year-old will join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
But speaking to Football Insider , Mills expressed grave doubts about the move for James, who he described as a "frightening talent". James enjoyed a breakthrough 2018/19 for Swansea, scoring four goals and laying on seven assists — and almost joined Leeds in January.

Mills said: “I’m not sure it’s the right move for James, going to Man United with all the turmoil they’re in.
"Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Alexis Sanchez are all still there, so he would be competing for a starting place with them.
“There is disharmony and discord as well. For a younger player like James, he needs to go and learn at a different club.
"He’s a frightening talent and has made real progress in recent months but there would be better clubs for him to go than being at a big club like United, where he would be left out and not improve.”
