Daniel James performs Man Utd initiation as behind-the-scenes video captures what happened

New Manchester United signing Daniel James has been settling in nicely to life with his new club, impressing both his teammates and new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær since linking up with the Red Devils.

Now, while on the club's pre-season tour in Australia, fans have been given a glimpse into the inevitable: the initiation of new players, by singing a song in front of their new teammates.

In footage shared by Angel Gomes on Instagram, both James and fellow new signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka can be seen holding golden spoons, separately belting out their chosen tunes while stood up on a chair.

Wales talent James went first and serenaded the squad with a rendition of Uncle Kracker's 'Follow Me', spurred on by his new teammates clapping him along.

Wan-Bissaka opted for a cover of rapper Nav's 'Tap,' which prompted plenty of laughs from his new colleagues, while midfielder Scott McTominay shone while singing 'Ain't No Sunshine'.

James looks in line to make his first appearance in a United shirt this weekend, when United face Perth Glory on Saturday.

It comes after James' Wales Under-21s teammate Regan Poole opened up on why the ex-Swans star will be a nightmare for opposing defenders.
