Daniel James has challenged Manchester United fans to back the team throughout the season as they have done already in the first four games of the campaign.
James was a summer signing from Swansea, and has made a fine start to life at United with three goals in four appearances plus another goal for Wales this week.
Moving from the Championship might have been a challenge for some players, but James seems to have adapted to Premier League life with ease.
However, there is one thing that took James by surprise - the impact of the fans who follow United home and away.
Describing his early experiences of playing infront of the passionate United support, James told Inside United: “Coming out to Old Trafford on my starting home debut [against Crystal Palace] was amazing.
"You really feel it – I got goosebumps when I came out. The atmosphere was amazing. You hear them all game.
"The away fans at Wolves and the amount of people that come is amazing as well. You could say they were as loud as the home fans, and that’s something that’s going to be very important again this year – for them to be behind us and be our 12th player."
