Daniel Dubois secures another KO victory in front of watching Joe Joyce against spirited Richard Lartey

Daniel Dubois has extended his professional record to 11-0 with a knockout victory over Richard Lartey.

Dubois, who holds the English and WBO European heavyweight titles, secured the 10th KO of his burgeoning career at the SSE Arena, Wembley, adding to an already impressive highlight reel that has many touting him as a future heavyweight title challenger.

Lartey, who was only granted a visa to fight in the UK this week, produced a spirited display against the Londoner, engaging him in a terrific exchange in the third round that put the undefeated Dubois under real pressure.

The Greenwich fighter landed a superb right however to send the Ghanaian to the canvas in the fourth round with the referee deeming Lartey unfit to continue.

Dubois recorded victories over Kevin Johnson, a former opponent of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, and former world title challenger Razvan Cojanu in his previous two fights.

An all-British clash between Dubois and Olympic silver medallist Joe Joyce is now on the cards after the British Boxing Board of Control announced this week that an agreement had been reached for Putney’s Joyce and Dubois to meet for the vacant British title.

Joyce was watching on from the crowd as Dubois added another win to his record.

Warren is planning a press conference for next week to announce a major event at the O2 Arena on July 13.
