Daniel Craig will reportedly receive a fat pay of 50 million pounds for his fifth and final outing as secret agent James Bond.
Daniel is in talks with director Danny Boyle about their vision of the new movie, due to be filmed in December, a source told The Mirror newspaper.
The same source said: “Daniel is worth every penny given that Spectre made over £700 million and Skyfall over £900 million.”
Daniel reportedly earned £37million for 2015’s Spectre. Universal Pictures has won the international distribution rights for the 25th Bond movie, which is due to be showed in England on October 25, 2019.
Talking about the possibility of performing the role of James Bond again, Daniel told The Guardian in a 2015 interview: “Now? I’d rather … slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. I’m over it at the moment.”
On the other hand, luxury sports cars manufacturer Aston Martin has decided to cooperate with a group of marine engineering experts to develop a submarine for personal use, similar to the submarines used in the Bond films.
The British company launched the submarine development project called Neptune, which is based on cooperation between the company and the submarine development company Triton Mold Marine in Florida.
Aston Martin will be forever associated with the fictional spy series. The company's cars have appeared in 11 Bond films.
The submarine "Lotus Sprit" appeared in the "The Spy Who Loved Me" in 1977, which was developed exclusively for the film, said the German news agency.
The first submarine model, to be produced in a limited edition, is expected to be unveiled later in 2018, the two companies said. The three-person submarine, with its bubble-shaped exterior, combines classic Aston Martin styling and deep-water techniques from Triton.
The luxurious submarine targets wealthy yacht owners, who want to spend some leisure time exploring the depths of the sea.
According to unconfirmed reports, the company will only offer about 12 submarines a year for sale.
The cost of each submarine will be about $4 million.
Despite the secrecy surrounding the technical details of the submarines, they will be able to dive up to a depth of 500 meters, while staying underwater for 12 hours, and speeding up to 5 nodes per hour. Passengers can see the ocean from almost all directions.
