Daniel Craig is the first ever James Bond to have grey hair in new 007 film

One hair colour is not enough for Daniel Craig, as he sports at least eight different looks in the new Bond trailer.

Craig returns as 007 in No Time To Die, his final outing as the super-spy.

And he becomes the first James Bond with grey hair.

Despite efforts to cover them up, the actor’s silver strands clearly shine through in a couple of shots in the trailer.

In the film Craig, 51, sports a range of hair styles and colours, from dark brown to strawberry blond, and, in a scene set in Italy, a short light brown crop with clear greys on the sides.

Insiders say the colouring allows Craig to appear more youthful as 007 , although in some scenes he keeps his natural salt and pepper look.

One fan commented: “It was really odd looking at the trailer because It looked like I was watching different movies.

“I get that they want to keep Bond looking young but actually Bond with a salt and pepper look is really cool.”

During the franchise’s 57-year run, directors and make-up teams have used various tricks to make the leading men look younger.

Sean Connery had dye and grease put in his hair for Diamonds Are Forever to hide grey streaks.

In 1983’s Never Say Never Again he wore a toupee.

Sir Roger Moore used make-up in his 12 years as 007.

Craig signed a deal worth a reported £50million pay day for No Time to Die.
